A teaser video then played, teasing a remake for the game.Īnother gameplay teaser titled "there you are." was posted on November 4th.Ī fangame called "Those Nights at Fredbear's Reboot" surfaced Gamejolt, Nikson asked the creator to change the name of the game because he was going to use it, confirming the name of the game. However, Phisnom read a question about Those Nights at Fredbear's, and the video started glitching out, until a distorted version of a music from the original Those Nights at Fredbear's started playing, leading to a black screen. On July 17th 2018, to celebrate the anniversary of The Joy of Creation: Story Mode, Nikson and Phisnom made a 1 hour-long video discussing about Behind The Scene of the game and answering some questions from Twitter. If you were using a Glowstick, everyone else could also see you from further away than their scanners, it would also attract them, but they would not start running at you unless they saw you in their scanner. If a glowstick was turned on, it could be thrown in the ground too to make the characters investigate the light source and make them go somewhere you want them to be to sneak somewhere else in the meantime. He could be grabbed by Springbonnie for some reason. He would sit down in every room in the game and tell the player tips. The player would've encountered Plushtrap too at one point, Nikson didn't have his idea planned too well, and to date only two ideas are known: Upon finding the player with his scanner, he would probably go towards the player to entertain him, not kill him, and would probably attract Springbonnie towards were he is. He would've also wondered around the building the same way Springbonnie did, but without hearing sounds. In the Middle of the game, Fredbear/spring freddy would move out of stage. Springbonnie will keep running at you if he saw you, if he doesn't see you because you just entered a different room, he'll also enter that room, and if you're not in that room he'll run into a random room to try and guess were you could be, instead of the usual thing were once you look at the character you're dead and have to start over. Springbonnie's AI consisted of him moving around the building randomly, stopping to look left and right for a bit and then continue his path, if he were to hear a loud sound he would go towards the area were it was made, and if he saw the player a sound cue plays, then he raises his hands and rushes towards the player. The game would've involved sneaking in an really big way. In the game, you need to collect unknown objects to escape, the main object that helps you in the game are the glowsticks, which help you see in dark areas were items would be in and also open doors, since it was too dark for the character to see the doors. The little girl would reach the endoskeleton's light and would get jumpscared (but not killed) to show the main mechanic of the game, once this event happens, Springbonnie would start walking around the building. As she walks to an unlocked door, an Endoskeleton sitting right next to it wakes up inmediately and starts scanning from left to right. You play as a little girl that has to escape Fredbear's in the middle of the Night that wakes up in a ballpit on the Play Area.
